EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS AND READERS:

There will be a session for the above volunteers on Saturday 12th November from 1pm – 5pm.

NEW VOLUNTEERS:

We would also like to invite new volunteers who would like to become Eucharistic Ministers or Readers. If you would like to volunteer for one or both of the above please fill in the tear off slip at the bottom of the Newsletter and post it through the Presbytery Letter Box – thank you.

PRIMARY SCHOOL SELF-ASSESSEMENT FORMS:

 

If you wish to apply for a place at a Catholic Primary School for Year 2012 please hand in your self-assessment form to the Parish Office or post it through the Presbytery letter box by Friday 4th November.

APF COLLECTION:

There will be a collection after all Masses this weekend for the APF, who are celebrating their 75th year of helping Missions abroad and carry out work in 27 different countries.

SPORTS IN THE COMMUNITY:

There is football every Sunday morning in Arnos Park between 9.30am – 10.45am, beyond the new children’s playground, from now until December. Ages 16 and over. Nordic walking will take place for over 16’s on Wednesdays starting with a taster session on 9th November at 7pm. HOSPITAL:
If you, or anyone you know, are going into hospital and wish to be visited by the Hospital Chaplain you must tell the staff to inform him that you are there.

McMILLAN COFFEE MORNING:

Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning such a success. A total of £576.75 was raised. Lists of uncollected raffle prizes are on the notice board. They may be collected from the Office during opening times (see middle panel) or from the Paper Shop after Masses this weekend.

FR FRED DE L’ORME:

A Very Big Thank You to Fr Fred who helped last week by celebrating the weekday Masses whilst Fr Tom and Fr Vincent were on retreat.
