CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY:

Thank you very much for your generosity last weekend.  A total of £2,197 was collected.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS AND READERS:

There will be a session for the above volunteers on Saturday 12th November from 1pm – 5pm.

NEW VOLUNTEERS:

We would also like to invite new volunteers who would like to become Eucharistic Ministers or Readers.  If you would like to volunteer for one or both of the above please fill in the tear off slip at the bottom of the Newsletter and post it through the Presbytery Letter Box – thank you.

 

 

PRIMARY SCHOOL APPLICATION FORMS:

Forms for Our Lady of Lourdes school for entry in September 2012 are now available from the school on 8361 0767.

SPORTS IN THE COMMUNITY:

There is football every Sunday morning in Arnos Park between 9.30am – 10.45am, beyond the new children’s playground, from now until December.  Ages 16 and over.  Please contact Robin on 0208 372 4481 for further information.

APF COLLECTION:

There will be a collection after all Masses next weekend for the APF, who are celebrating their 75th year of helping Missions abroad and carry out work in 27 different countries.  There will be a Mass to celebrate the 75th Anniversary on Sunday 23rd October at 10.30am at Westminster Cathedral. Main celebrant Most Rev Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.

CHURCH CLEANING:

Once again I am appealing for your help to clean our lovely Church.  The commitment is once a month on a Monday after the 10am Mass.  It takes between 1 - 1½ hours only.  Please can you help?  Thank you in anticipation.  Please call Eileen Nagle on 020 8882 0379 for more information.

HOSPITAL:

If you, or anyone you know, are going into hospital and wish to be visited by the Hospital Chaplain you must tell the staff to inform him that you are there.
