LENT:

Stations of the Cross will take place after the 10am Mass  and at 7pm, which is led this week by The Saturday Morning Coffee Group. 

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Sunday afternoon from after the 12.30 pm mass – 5.30 pm.   

Our Lenten Discussions continue on Wednesday, 30th March, at 7.30 pm in the Upstairs Meeting Room, using the booklet, Faithful Pilgrims, based on the talks and homilies given by the Pope when he was in Britain last year.

Available in the Paper Shop is ‘Walk With Me’ which contains meditations for every day during Lent & costs £1. 

CONVENT MASS:

There will be Mass at 2, Brookdale at 7.30 pm on Thursday 31st March.  All welcome. 

COMPASS:

The April edition of our Churches Together magazine is now available at the back of the church. 

BERNADETTE CLUB:

Meets on Friday, April 1st, at 2 pm. 

GOOD FRIDAY:

Ten Ten Theatre would like to thank parishioners for the response to the invitation to join them in presenting the Stations of the Cross with words, movement and action on Good Friday.  Places are still available – please complete and return the form at the back of the Church. 

READERS/SUNDAY REFRESHMENTS:

Please collect your new rotas from the Paper Shop today.  Many thanks. 

PAPER SHOP STALL:

There will be a stall in the Parish Hall today after the Saturday 6.30pm Mass and 8.30am, 9.45am & 11.15am Sunday Masses selling Easter, First Holy Communion and Confirmation Cards. 

CAR PARK CLEANING:

Volunteers are needed to help clean the Car Park in preparation for Easter on Saturday 9th April from 9am. 

LENTEN ALMS:

During Lent we will be collecting tins of food for Homeless in Barnet.  Please leave your offerings in the box at the back of the church. Also during Lent we are collecting Alms for two charities chosen by Archbishop Vincent – “St John Southworth Fund”, which supports people in the London area, and “Christians in the Holy Land”.  Please use the box marked “Lenten Alms” in the church porch wall. 

HELP NEEDED:

Reliable lady required to help Parishioner.  Flexi hours, must have own car.  Please call 8440 2281.

CAFOD FAMILY FAST DAY:

Many thanks for your generous offering of £1,978.72 for CAFOD last weekend.  If anyone would still like to make a donation, please either drop your envelope through the Presbytery  letter box or give it to one of the priests.  Thank you. 

YOUNG ADULTS IN THE NORTH:

Meet with Bishop John Arnold on Sunday 10th April at St Monica’s Church, 1, Stonard Road, N13 4DJ.  The evening starts with Mass at 5.30 pm followed by food and a discussion.  Please see the poster in the porch. 

SCOUTS IN NAMIBIA:

There is a cake sale on Sunday 3rd April after all morning masses, run by the Hatters Explorer Scout Unit to raise funds for them to visit Namibia to carry out conservation projects.  Cakes to sell would be most welcome!
