BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:

As Monday is a Bank Holiday the only Mass will be at 10am. The Church will be closed immediately after the Mass. 

MASS TIMES:

On Tuesday there will be Mass as usual at 8am & 10am.  There will be no priest available after the 10am Mass as we  are meeting with the Archbishop and the other Priests of the Diocese.

THE KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA:

Have arranged a Pilgrimage to Aylesford on Sunday 13th June and they will be selling tickets for this after Mass today. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PHOTOS:

CELEBRATION OF PRIESTHOOD:

A Mass will take place here at 7.30 pm  on Friday 18th June to mark the Year of the Priest, followed by a reception in the Hall. 

BERNADETTE CLUB:

The June meeting is on Friday 4th, at2 pm in the Parish Hall. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:

There will be a special Mass at 11.15am on Sunday 13th June for those who received Holy Communion for the first time this year.  The children are invited to wear their First Holy Communion outfits and the books and certificates will be distributed at this Mass. 

COLLECTION FOR THE POPE’S VISIT:

Thank you to those who gave so generously to the appeal last week.  £1,458 was raised.  If anyone still wants to donate, please give your donation to one of the priests, or put it through the letter box of the Presbytery in an envelope marked ‘For the visit of the Pope’.  Thank you. 

RCIA:

Are you someone who is thinking of becoming a Catholic, or even simply wanting to find out more about the Catholic Faith?  Is over 18 and not yet Confirmed?  This Parish runs an RCIA Course (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) each year from September to Pentecost on Sunday mornings.  If you would like to know more or would like a place on the course, please talk to one of the Priests or complete an application form, available from the paper shop.  Forms should be returned to the office.  

ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS:

Takes place next Saturday, 5th June, at New Southgate Cemetery at 11am.  If you are a singer or instrumentalist your help with the music would be much appreciated.  We also need a reader and Eucharistic Ministers.  If you are able to help please sign the relevant list in the Porch.  If you are planning to attend you are advised to bring an umbrella (rain or shine!) and a chair, as seating is very limited. Please note that there will be no 10 am mass in the church that day.
