BERNADETTE CLUB OUTING:
On April 29th we are having a drive through the Essex countryside to visit the Chocolate Lady who will demonstrate her skills at making chocolates, let us sample them and serve us tea. There are a few places still on the coach, if you would like to join us, please phone Kathy on 020 8445 7812.  The cost is £20. 

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
Are looking for two people to escort children from Garfield school’s Breakfast Club to OLOL.  Two hours/week 8.30 – 9 am.  Please apply to the school on 8361 0767.  Closing date is 23rd April. 

MASS IN CONVENT:
At 2, Brookdale, on Thursday April 22nd at 7.30 pm.  All welcome.

PARISH PAPER SHOP/REPOSITORY:
Is just behind the brown door of the Parish Hall and is open before and after all weekend masses for Catholic & Irish papers, mass cards and other religious items. 

COUNTING TEAM:
25th April – Team 2.  

PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
This is the new name for WEEF (Westminster Ecclesiastical Education Fund) and the Annual Collection takes place next weekend, April 24/25th. 

All the money that you donate will be used to pay for the training of our new priests.  Please take one of the donation envelopes and give as much as you can afford and, if you are a UK taxpayer, please compete the Gift Aid slip.  You can see a short film about the work of the Priest Training Fund and/or make a donation online by visiting www.rcdow.org.uk.  Many thanks. 

CONFIRMATION:
The next Confirmation session is on Wednesday 21st April at 7 pm. 

SERVERS ROTA:
There are new rotas for Servers available today in the Sacristy.  These will not be sent by post. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
The course continues on Tuesday 20th April with the parents meeting.  The children will meet on Saturday 24th at the usual time. 

BEAVERS, CUBS, SCOUTS AND BROWNIES:
All the sections resume their meetings this week at the usual times. 

PARISH COUNCIL:
The next meeting is on Monday 26th April at 8.15 pm in the Small Hall.  Please bring your minutes with you.  If you have not received them, please let the Office know before the meeting.
