ROTAS AWAITING COLLECTION:
Servers, Readers, Paper Shop volunteers – please collect new rotas from the Paper Shop today. 

CAR PARK CLEANING:
Saturday 26th September from 8.30am.   NEW volunteers most welcome – thank you. 

FAIR TRADE STALL:
After the Summer break the Parish Fair Trade stall is open today after the Saturday 6.30pm Mass and Sunday morning Masses. 

CAFOD:
There will be speaker from CAFOD at all Masses next weekend, and the Harvest Fast Day collection will be on Sunday 4th October.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY:
Ten Ten Theatre are giving a performance of the play ‘Degrees of Change’ on Sunday 24th October.  This is a Parish Fundraising event and more information about the play will follow.  Tickets will be on sale from Sunday 4th October. 

‘YOUR KINGDOM COME’:
Daily Meditations and Reflections booklet is now on sale in the Paper Shop priced £1. 

MASS TIMES:
Please note there will be NO 8am Masses from 21st September to 9th October.

On 24th September, Mass will be at 9.15 am because Fr. Tom and Fr. Kevin will be attending a meeting with Archbishop Vincent that day. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME:
First parents meeting is on Tuesday 6th October at 8 pm in the Parish Hall.  It is very important that all parents attend.

All children, on both FHC courses, begin on Saturday at 10 am in the Big Hall.  ALL MUST ATTEND!!

The first Mass of the FHC course is on Sunday 11th October at 11.15 am. 

DEACON VINCENT MALONE:
We welcome into the Parish Deacon Vincent who will be helping us for the next year.  We wish him every blessing in his ministry. 

NEW SERVERS:
If you have made your First Holy Communion and would like to become a server, please take an application form from the paper shop today.  Thank you. 

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT:

SWINE FLU:
The Diocese have sent us some guidelines regarding the distribution of Holy Communion:

As the chalices are metal and the wine contains alcohol it is thought that there is little risk – taking Communion from the chalice remains a personal decision.

Communion received on the hand presents no risk, but by mouth could put both you and other communicants at risk.
