BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:
Please note there will be one Mass only on May 4th at 10am after which the Church will be closed . 

BENCHES:
Now that our new Benches are in place we would like to keep them looking nice for as long as possible.We would ask parents not to allow their children to use pens or hard toys on them as these will mark the benches.  Thank you. 

FOUR SEASONS DRAW:
The Spring £1 a month draw will take place on Sunday 10th May.  Subscriptions need to be in by 9th May.  The draw will take place after the 9.45am Mass in the Hall.  Application forms are available in the Paper Shop for new members. 

GEORGE MANN RIP:
The Requiem Mass is on Tuesday 5th May at 10am. 

BAPTISM COURSE:
Signing date is May 5th from 7.15 – 8 pm, and the Course continues on Monday 11th May at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall. 

LORETO COLLEGE SUMMER FAYRE:
Sunday 10th May from 11.30am.See notice board for further details. 

LAY MINISTERS ROTA:
Please collect your copy from the Paper Shop. 

TEA/COFFEE ROTA:
Available for collection from the Paper Shop.   

ANNUAL WEEF COLLECTION:
This weekend is the annual appeal to raise funds to support men training for the priesthood in this Diocese.  Please be as generous as you can in the second collection as you leave Mass today.  If you are a UK tax payer, then please use one of the envelopes at the back of the church to make your donation, so that the Seminary can benefit by getting back the tax that you have paid on your donation.  Thank you.  If you want to know more about the Seminary or about vocations to the priesthood, then please speak to our Seminarian, Brian O’Mahoney, Fr. Tom or Fr. Kevin. 

CONFIRMATION:
Thanks to all who helped to make the Confirmation Mass yesterday such a happy occasion.  Please continue to pray for those who were confirmed and please also pray for those who will be receiving the Body and Blood of the Lord in Holy Communion for the first time over the next couple of weeks, and for their families and friends. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
There is a rehearsal on Friday 8th May at 6 pm for those who are receiving First Holy Communion on Saturday 9th.  It is very important that you attend! 

CONGRATULATIONS KAREN!
Karen completed the Marathon in six and a half hours, so well done!  She would like to thank you all so much for your good wishes and generous donations to Children with Leukaemia. 

FINCHLEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:
Kevin Hoare, the Headteacher is retiring at the end of the summer after over thirty years service.  To mark the occasion the school has arranged a Mass of Thanksgiving to be held at St Mary Magdalen’s Church, Whetstone, N.20 on Thursday 18th June at 7pm.It is likely that more will wish to attend that the Church can hold, so tickets will be available on a first come – first served basis from Mrs Fran Kelly at the School (8445 0105).
