Christmas Eve: Family Mass 6.30 pm

11.30 pm: Readings and carols 
12.00 am: Midnight Mass 

Christmas Day: 8.30 am; 9.45 am; 11.15 am; 12.30pm         

THERE IS NO 6.30 pm MASS ON CHRISTMAS DAY

CRIB:
The Knights of St Columba will be putting up the Christmas Tree and Crib on Tuesday 16th December at 8 pm.  We need some strong volunteers  to help construct the Crib.  Please be in the church ready to start at 8 pm.  Thank you. 

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
On Sunday afternoon between 1.15 pm and 5.30 pm, ending with Benediction.  You are all welcome to spend half an hour or so with the Blessed Sacrament during the afternoon.

ADVENT TALKS:
The Advent talks on St Paul continue on Wednesday, 17th  December, at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall.   This week the topic is Paul’s second missionary journey.

SERVERS & EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
Please sign the lists in the porch if you are able to serve/help at any of the Christmas Masses.  Thank you.

FAIR TRADE STALL:
Our Fair Trade stall is open next Saturday and Sunday. Our profit goes to CAFOD, a charity, but everything we sell is covered by the same consumer rights that apply to commercial retailers. Our developing country farmers enjoy guaranteed prices not given to other farmers by international food conglomerates.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
A very big thank you to the children, parents and Staff of the school who raised a fantastic £300 by selling their Christmas paintings.  The money will go towards purchasing a Church Bench. 

JANUARY SALE:
Janet writes: Just an early note to let you know that the January sale will take place in the Parish Hall on 24th/25th January.   We will be most grateful for any saleable items – more news in the new year.  Many thanks. 

ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
Will take place on Monday 22nd December at 2.30 pm & 7.30 pm. 

FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS, ST PAUL’S WOODLAND WAY:
Our Ecumenical Carol Service with St Paul’s takes place on Sunday 21st December  at 6.30 pm.  Our choir and readers will be taking part and you are all invited to join them.  Mulled wine and mince pies will follow in the Church Hall. 

TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:
Will be collected during Advent.  Please leave them in the box under the Offertory table – thank you.
