ANNUAL MISSION APPEAL:
This is our Diocesan appeal for the missions, which this year is being taken by the White Fathers. Fr. Aylward Shorter will be here next weekend, 5th/6th July, to speak to us all. Please be as generous as you can.
NOTE FOR YOUR DIARIES:
Our annual, much anticipated Parish BBQ will take place on Saturday 19th July from after the 6.30 pm Mass. Tickets will be on Sale from today after all Masses.
OUR KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA GROUP
are holding a Quiz Night on Saturday 5th July from 7.30 pm. Entrance is £10, which includes a fish and chip supper (bring your own drinks). Offers of raffle prizes would be most welcome. Tickets are on sale after all Masses today, and a good time is guaranteed for all! All profits will go to homeless charities.
COFFEE MORNING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE NORTH LONDON HOSPICE:
At 12, Betstyle Road, on 9th July between 10 am and 1 pm. Entry £1 and lots of goodies for sale. All welcome.
SPECIAL COLLECTION:
There is a second collection today, after all Masses, for Peter’s Pence. All our Dioceses hold this collection as a mark of our devotion and loyalty to the Pope, who then distributes it to a variety of charitable causes.
LATIN AMERICAN DANCE CLASSES:
A new four week course for complete beginners begins on 4th July in the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm. No partner required, suitable for all ages. £1.50 entry.
CHURCH DECORATING:
Continues this week. Mass on Monday, Tuesday and Friday will be at 10 am in the Parish Hall. Mothers and Toddlers will not be meeting until further notice.
