FR DAVID WRITES
This week many children and young people will begin the return to school. After a long time of home learning and many online sessions, it will be lovely to see them back in their schools and classes to learn alongside each other. We wish everyone well for the days ahead. We also send our thanks and best wishes to everyone at school and at home who have worked so hard to make everything possible. We hope that there will also be opportunities at school before the end of term to enter into the heart of Lent and prepare for the celebration of Holy Week and Easter.

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED
Sunday 21st March will be our Aid to the Church in Need day. There will be a second collection to help the work of ACN throughout the world. Our ACN group are preparing an online 'Virtual Sunday Lunch' that day. We will post a link for this event on the website next weekend. The Stations of the Cross on Friday 26th March will follow themes connected with Aid to the Church in Need. Thank you to our group for all their work.

STATIONS & CONFESSIONS
Stations of the Cross this Friday at 2pm. Confessions this Saturday at 2pm.

FOOD BANK
We are pleased to say that we are working with our neighbours at St Paul's Church New Southgate, St Paul's Primary School and Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School on the food bank project. They are looking for volunteers to help. Fr Matt, Vicar, writes:
St Paul's Church in collaboration with St Paul's Primary School and Our Lady of Lourdes School have been running a foodbank since November 2020 in the church building. We are looking for some extra volunteers to help keep us open on Monday afternoons. Could you help? You must not be in any of the 'at risk' categories for COVID-19, and be able to commit at least once a month for two hours. We will provide the simple training you'll need. Please get in touch if you're interested with Father Matt Harbage (Vicar): 07746 444179 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. PROCEDURE AT CHURCH
The Covid-secure procedures continue at here at church. Please stay away if you have any symptoms or if it is safer to stay at home. Please use the hand sanitiser on the way in, and wear the face covering inside the church. We must all observe social distancing inside the church, and there can be no mixing or mingling before or after Mass. Thank you.

LENT TALKS
Fr Andrew will give his Lenten talk on Tuesday, 9th March at 6.30 pm.  The talk will be online only, so please join us on the live stream. Fr Johnson’s Mass in Malayalam will follow at 7 pm.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOLY WEEK & EASTER
The arrangements for Holy Week and Easter here at Our Lady of Lourdes are outlined below. We are disappointed that another Easter will be adversely affected by the restrictions. We are, of course, required to abide by the special measures in place. Tickets for the main liturgies will be available from next weekend, beginning on Saturday evening. Please note: initially, it will only be possible to take a ticket for one part of the Triduum (i.e. EITHER Maundy Thursday or Good Friday or the Easter Vigil). After that, if there are remaining tickets spare, we will then make them available again. You can also take a ticket for Easter Sunday.  It will not be necessary to have a ticket for the Masses on Palm Sunday but if the church reaches capacity we will have to close the doors.  Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.  Of course, as always, all the celebrations will be livestreamed.

Palm Sunday (27th/28th March)
Saturday and Sunday Masses as normal (Sat: 4pm, 6pm, Sun: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm)
No tickets are needed for the weekend of Palm Sunday.

Maundy Thursday (1st April) - Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper 7.30pm (ticket required).  The church will remain open after Mass for silent prayer or visits by those who did not have a ticket.

Good Friday (2nd April) - Celebration of the Passion of the Lord 3pm (ticket required)
There will also be Stations of the Cross at 10am (no ticket required), and the church will remain open in the evening for silent prayer or visits by those who did not have a ticket for the afternoon liturgy.

Holy Saturday (3rd April) - Easter Vigil 7.30pm (ticket required)

Easter Sunday (4th April) - Masses 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm (tickets required)

FOUR SEASONS DRAW
We will be holding the Draws for Summer, Winter and Autumn 2020 next Sunday at the 10 am Mass.  If you would like to join the draw for 2021 please contact the parish office, preferably by email.  Thank you.
