FR DAVID WRITES
Today is the Feast of the Lord's Baptism. This event at the River Jordan is a kind of Epiphany when there was a revelation of God's love at the beginning of Jesus' ministry. The voice of Father is heard and the Spirit is seen when Jesus is anointed as the Christ of God. God is love and his overwhelming love for each of us is revealed in the mystery of Christ, the Word-made-flesh and the Saviour of the world.

REDUCED MASS SCHEDULE
We are in a special lockdown schedule at the moment, when Masses are reduced as many people are staying at home. The number of places in the church has been reduced to 40 to allow greater social distancing. Today is also the last 12pm Sunday Mass until the lockdown ends.

Please stay at home and pray at home if this is more prudent for you in your own circumstances. There is no obligation to come to Mass. Please do not come to the church if you have any symptoms.

IF YOU VISIT THE CHURCH FOR MASS OR PRIVATE PRAYER
HANDS - use the hand sanitiser on the way in and out of church (no exceptions)
FACE - always wear the face covering unless exempt
SPACE - maintain social distancing inside and outside church

PARISH OFFICE
Please save ordinary business until after the lockdown ends. If you need to let us know of any special or urgent circumstances, please ’phone us or leave a voicemail. Thank you.
