FR DAVID WRITES
Yesterday at the cathedral, David Knight, Alexander Balzanella and Axcel Soriano were ordained to the priesthood for our diocese by the Cardinal. David will go to Burnt Oak, Axcel at North Harrow, and Alexander will return to Rome to complete his studies. We send them our best wishes and congratulations. David will return here on Tuesday for a Mass of Thanksgiving. The tickets for this Mass have now all gone so please only come if you have ticket. Thank you for your generosity to his presentation. Best wishes to you all - keep safe and stay alert.

TRACK & TRACE
Under the new Government guidelines we are now expected to participate proactively in track and trace. When you come to Mass, you are asked to send an email on the same day to this email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Please state your name and the time of Mass you attended. It is important to send on the same day so that we can sort and search the emails by date. You don't need to leave any other details as we will have your email contact. Please don’t send any other messages to this account. If you don't have email, you should bring a small piece of paper with your name, phone number and date/time of Mass to leave in the collection basket. Thank you.

NEW ROUTINE FOR HOLY COMMUNION
This weekend Holy Communion returns to the normal part during the Mass. Everyone should observe social distancing - please leave a space between each other in the procession. Second, it will not be possible for those on the side aisles to pass through the central pews as before. Now, the people in the side pews (starting at the back) should come after the centre benches have been to Communion, by going up the side aisle to the back, and then down the central aisle. Thank you for your cooperation.

SECOND COLLECTION
There will be a retiring collection after all Masses this weekend for the sacred places in the care of the Custody of the Holy Land (Holy Places). This collection was delayed from Good Friday.

PAPAL VISIT 2010
This week we kept the tenth anniversary of the Papal Visit of Benedict XVI to the United Kingdom. We thank God for the many blessings and happy memories of that event.

VOLUNTEERS
We’re very grateful to those who volunteered to help stewarding/cleaning in the church. Some of them have served almost every week. We are really looking to recruit more volunteers. Please email or ring the Parish Office for more details.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS 2020
The First Holy Communion Masses will be celebrated here in church in October.
Unfortunately, the places at these Masses are strictly limited so it will not be possible to invite other parishioners. Thank you for your understanding.

CONFIRMATIONS 2020
Fr David has written to the parents and candidates about the delayed Confirmations. Parents are asked to reply to Teresa Buffery on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  Please also let us know if you should have received a letter but it has not arrived.

RCIA
We already have a few adults signed up for the new RCIA. Do you come to Mass here and want to become a Catholic? Perhaps you’re already a Catholic but you were not confirmed? Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to speak to Fr Andrew.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2021
We are beginning the registrations for First Holy Communion 2021. This is for Catholic children in school year 3. Forms are available at the back of church. Please take one, complete it, and return asap.

SECONDARY SCHOOL FORMS
We are working with the diocese regarding the signing of secondary school forms. Please wait for information.

HOLY COMMUNION HOME VISITS
We received some positive guidance from the diocese on this recently. However, the current situation may be overtaking that advice. We will keep this under review for the next week or so, and then give more information.

The Parish Office is in operation but closed to visitors. We ask that you phone or email first, and not come to the door without prior arrangements. No exceptions please!
