MESSAGE FROM BISHOP SHERRINGTON:
Bishop Sherrington has written to inform us officially of the following: “I wish to inform you that for personal reasons Fr Stewart Hasker will not be returning to the parish and will be supported by the Diocese at this time. Please keep him in your prayers.”  

CONFIRMATON 2019:
Application forms are available for next two weeks only from the Sacristy.  Candidates are asked to take a form and sign the sheet with their parents details.  All forms to be returned by 14th October to the box in the Sacristy.

COFFEE MORNING & BRING & BUY SALE:  
Will be held in aid of North London Hospice on Wednesday 3rd October at 12 Betstyle Road from 10am – 12 noon.  Everyone welcome, please come along – thank you.

22ND SOUTHGATE SCOUT GROUP:

SECONDARY SCHOOL TRANSFER:
If you are considering a place for your child at a Catholic Secondary School for September 2019, please sign up for an appointment for Fr David to sign the Catholic Certificate of Practice.  

Please also take the self-assessment form to complete and bring with you on your appointment.  Forms and sign up lists are available in the Paper Shop for the appointments on either the 11th October or 13th October.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION BOOKS:
A few books remain uncollected from last year.  Please see Teresa if yours is one of them.

NATALIE SMITH RIP:
The Requiem Mass is on Thursday, 4th October, at 10 am.  May she rest in peace.

PENNIES FOR PEACE:
Please bring your ‘Pennies’ next weekend and leave in the Pax Christi Basket on the Sanctuary – thank you.

CLEANING THE ALTAR VESSELS:
We are looking for help in the Sacristy one day a week after the 10 am Mass.  All the altar vessels have to be washed, candles and holders cleaned and altar linen changed where necessary.  All this takes is about 15 minutes.  If you would like to help, please call the Parish Office.

CAFOD: SHARE THE HUNGER:
Once again Harvest is a time of disappointment, even despair, for thousands living through drought.  Friday is Harvest Fast Day; we can help them by sacrificing one meal and donating what we save in the CAFOD envelope, available today at the back of the Church.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION COURSE:
The course begins on Tuesday, 4th October, at 8 pm in the Big Hall with a meeting for all parents.  The children will meet on Saturday 6th at 10 am and the whole family will attend the 11.15 am Mass on Sunday 7th.

NEW ALTAR SERVERS:
If you have made your First Holy Communion and would like to become an altar server please fill in the slip below and hand into the Parish Office.

BAPTISM COURSE:
The October course begins on Monday 1st, when you are invited to attend at the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm to complete application forms.

ROTAS:
New Readers and Extraordinary Minister rotas have been emailed to volunteers.  There are a few printed copies in the Paper shop for those without email.

ST ANNE’S OPEN DAYS:
Lower Site: Monday 1st October: 6 – 8 pm, and Thursday 4th October, 9.15 am – 12.30.
Upper Site:  Wednesday 3rd October, 9 am – 12.30 pm.
