“THE WORK WORK” by Maire Buonocore.  
A celebration of the Work of Women in World War I at St Edmunds, Edmonton, on Friday 13th July at 7.30 pm.  The concert is free, but a retiring collection will be taken for the Soup Kitchen for the homeless.  

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER ROTAS:
New Rotas are available for those who are not on our email list.  We have temporarily reduced the number of Ministers from five to three, for the morning Masses.  This will be reviewed in due course.  

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019:
Application forms for children who will be seven years old by the 31st August 2018, are available from the Sacristy today, for the last time.  Please make sure you pick yours up today.  All completed forms must be returned to the Parish Office by 15th July.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA):
If you are thinking of becoming a Catholic and would like to know more, please complete a RCIA form from the church porch.

FREEZER FOR THE SCOUTS:
The Scout Group are looking for a (preferably chest) freezer – if you are about to dispose of yours, please let the Office know and we will put you in touch with the Group.  Thank you.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT:
If you would like to speak to one of our Bereavement volunteers please complete a form in the Church Porch and hand it to the Parish Office.

BAPTISM COURSE:
Takes place in the Small Hall on Monday 9th July at 7.30 pm.

PARISH OFFICE TIMES FOR JULY:
During the month of July, the Parish Office will be taking messages and Mass requests only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so please keep queries of a more complicated nature for the other three days!  
The Office will be open on:
Monday     10.30 am – 1 pm
Tuesday    12 noon – 2 pm
Wednesday    10 am – 2 pm
Thursday & Friday    9 am – 1 pm

MARY’S MEALS - ONE WEEK TO GO:  
With only one week to go before Mary’s Meals will be at our church on the morning of Sunday 15th July please remember to bring along all your unwanted clothing/bedding (no duvets nor pillows please).
 
Put all clothing/bedding into tied black sacks and bring them with you when you come to church – the cut off time is 12.30 pm, when the van  leaves for the last time.
 
Mary’s Meals is a no-frills charity committed to spending 93p in every £1 received on its charitable activities with only 6p spent on Fundraising and 1p on Governance.

FAIRTRADE  STALL:
The Fair Trade Stall will be open next weekend at the usual times.  This is the last stall until September so many items will be discounted to clear stock.

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED PRAYING FOR NIGERIA:
All rosary prayers this month will be for Nigeria due to the recent surge of violence there.
