The Cardinal’s vision is the support and growth of three sectors: Evangelisation of Youth and Young Adults, Strengthening Marriage and Family Life and Fostering a more Civil Society through Service.  Please take a leaflet from the back of the church to find out more, and how to make a donation to the Appeal.  Thank you.

MARY’S MEALS WORLD PORRIDGE DAY:
This was created in 2009 to raise awareness of Mary’s Meals school feeding programme and the difference a daily mug of porridge served in a school can make to the world’s poorest children, This comes at a time when Malawi is suffering a terrible food crisis. Next weekend Mary’s Meals will be selling porridge for a donation in the Parish Hall after all Masses.

PAPERSHOP CHRISTMAS CARDS:

We have a large range of Christmas Cards available now in the Paper Shop.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
Today the Holy Father invites all Catholics to contribute to a special collection for Missio, his official charity for overseas mission. Your prayers and donations today will support the work of missionaries, like those in Rwanda, as they share God’s mercy and love with those who are suffering. The World Mission Sunday collection will support mission projects worldwide that bring God’s love and the Gospel message of dignity for all. Please give what you can, and if possible, please use the Gift Aid envelopes if you are a taxpayer. Thank you.

PLANNED GIVING SCHEME:
It would be a great help to the parish if you are able to make your offering each week through the Planned Giving envelope scheme or by standing order. If you are also able to ‘Gift Aid’ your donation, the parish would gain a further 25% of your donation in tax relief from HMRC, without any cost to yourself. Application forms are in the porch at the back of the church. Thank you.
