FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2017:
If you have completed the First Holy Communion application form please sign up for an appointment to meet the Priest and Catechist.  Sign up sheets are available in the Paper shop and the appointments will be on Monday 26th September.

BAPTISM COURSE:
The next Baptism application evening will take place on Monday 5th September.  Please come to the Parish centre between 7 and 8 pm to complete your form.

BERNADETTE CLUB:
The Bernadette Club meets on Friday 2nd September at 2 pm in the Parish Hall.  New members welcome.

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING:
The  Finance Team will meet on Monday 5th September at 8 pm in the Small Hall.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP:
If you have been recently bereaved and would like to talk to someone, the Parish have a small team of volunteers bereavement supporters.  Please complete a form from the back of the Church and hand into the office.

 

SATURDAY CLUB:
The Club meets on Saturday 3rd September in the Parish Hall between 2 and 4 pm.

TODDLER GROUP:
Our Toddler Group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, during school term time, in the Parish Hall from 9.15 am – 11.15 am.  Anyone with a baby or toddler is welcome!

AGEING IN AN INCLUSIVE SOCIETY:
Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN) is hosting its first ever Seminar on “Ageing in an Inclusive Society” on Wednesday 7th September between 10 am – 4 pm at CCLA, 85, Queen Victoria Street, London, EC4V 4ET.  This event is open to academics, professionals, volunteers, carers, family members and anyone that is interested in improving the lives of older people. UNIFORMED GROUPS:
The Scout and Brownie meetings will all begin again in the coming weeks.

Brownies are reminded that their meetings start on Thursday 8th September at 6 pm.

Beavers begin on Monday 12th September, and Scouts on Monday 12th and Wednesday 14th.  All at the usual times.

Cubs restart in the Hall on Monday 19th but, as we have the District FiveASide Football competition on Sunday 25th September, those who would like to play in it, are asked to attend a practice in Arnos Park (at the bottom of Arnos Road) at 6 pm on Monday 12th September.

FAMILY SCOUTING DAY:
The 22nd Southgate Scout Group will be holding their annual Family Scouting Day at Scout Park on 17th  September from 5 pm.
We start with the opportunity to try some traditional scouting activities, followed by a brief meeting which will include a slide presentation, "A Year in the Life of the 22nd". Polo and T shirts will be on sale, along with some items of second-hand uniform. All are welcome to attend - bring a donation for your burger!
