FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2015:
The course continues with the parents meeting on Tuesday 3rd March at        8 pm in the Hall, the children on Saturday 7th at 10 am, also in the Hall, and all for the Family Mass on Sunday 8th at 11.15 am.

CONFIRMATION COURSE:
Candidates are reminded that their second session is on Saturday, 7th March at 4.45 pm in the Parish Hall, followed by the Mass of Enrolment at 6.30 pm.

ALTAR SERVERS TRAINING:
For those who have already applied for training, and have received an email or phone call, training will continue on 7th, 14th and 21st March.

BERNADETTE CLUB:
Please note that the March meeting of the Bernadette Club will be on Friday 13th March from 2 – 4 pm.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND:

HOMELESS TINS/ TOILETRIES:
We will be collecting tins and toiletries for the homeless during Lent.  There is a box at the back of the church for your donations which will go to Barnet Homeless Action.  Thank you.

MARCH BAPTISM COURSE:
The course begins on Monday 2nd March when you are invited to come to the Parish Centre between 7 – 8 pm to complete an application form.

FAIR TRADE FORTNIGHT:
Next weekend's stall is in Fair Trade Fortnight and will be open after every mass, from Saturday 6.30 pm to Sunday 6.30 pm.  "Real" Easter Eggs featuring the true story of Easter will be available to buy or order for collection after every Palm Sunday mass.

UGO (JOE) BORELLA RIP:
Joe’s funeral will be on Friday, March 6th at 10 am.

CAFOD LENT FAST DAY:
CAFOD works with poor communities around the word on our behalf, helping them to tackle poverty and injustice.  Fast Days are our opportunity to support this vital work and there will be a collection after all masses this weekend.  This year the Government will match our donations pound for pound, so doubling the amount that CAFOD will receive.  Please use the envelope Gift Aid slip if you pay UK tax, so that CAFOD can reclaim the tax you have already paid on the amount you donate.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
Exposition will take place on every Sunday during Lent from 1.30 pm.  If you are able to watch for half an hour please sign the list in the Porch.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
These will take place each Friday during Lent at 10.30 am and 7.30 pm.  The evening Stations will be led by parishioners.

LENT PROGRAMME:

Our Lenten programme this year will consist of a series of DVD’s called “Jesus’ Footsteps in the Holy Land”, which will help us to understand the Gospel better.  They will take place on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall, continuing this week.

LENTEN ALMS APPEAL 2015:
The Diocese has asked all parishioners to consider making a Lenten Alms gift to Caritas.  There are leaflets and envelopes at the back of the church or you can get more information about Caritas at www.rcdow.org.uk/caritas.

SATURDAY CLUB:
The Saturday Club meets on Saturday 7th March at 2.30 pm in the Parish Hall.
