SPEC:
SPEC is part of Westminster Youth Ministry.  Each year a number of young adults (aged 18-25) join the resident community for a year as volunteer missionaries helping the community in its primary mission of retreat ministry for children and young people in the Diocese of Westminster.  Perhaps this is the ideal opportunity for you – or someone you know – to combine a year of service with a year of formation in faith in a supportive Catholic community.  More details are available at:http://dowym.com/spec/

22nd SOUTHGATE SCOUT GROUP:
The Scouts succeeded in raising over £1,567 for The Passage with their cardboard camp last December.
19 Scouts braved the cold and experienced what it is like to live rough on the streets with only a cardboard box for shelter.
All the sponsorship money has now been collected with one Scout raising over £225.00! A further £113 was donated by parishioners on the day.  Thank you all very much and well done to our Scouts!
