NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS:
At St Paul’s Church, Woodland Road, N11, at 6.30 pm on Sunday 14th December.  Our readers and choir take part, and mulled wine and mince pies will be available afterwards!  All welcome.

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES:
New Planned Giving envelopes are now available at the back of the Church.  Please note envelopes are in alphabetical order and your number may have changed.

ADVENT TALKS:
The second talk will be on Tuesday 9th December at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.  The talks will focus on the Gospel stories of the birth of Jesus to help us understand them better.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT DURING ADVENT:
Please sign the sheets in the porch.  The Sacrament will be exposed this afternoon between 1.30 – 5.30 pm.  There must be someone on watch at all times.

HOMELESS ACTION IN BARNET:
We will be collecting toiletries, new men’s socks, and tins of food for HAB and Crisis this Advent.  If you would like to donate something, please use the box at the back of the church.  Many thanks.

DECEMBER BAPTISM COURSE:
The second part, for those who completed application forms last week, takes place tomorrow, Monday 8th December, at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.

TOM O’CONNOR RIP:

The funeral will take place here on Tuesday 9th December at 6.30 pm before the body is repatriated to Ireland.

“THE PASSAGE”:

30 members of our Scout Troop will have been sleeping in cardboard boxes on the Patio on Saturday night to raise awareness (and funds!) for our Diocesan homeless charity.
In other news, the Scouts raised over £1,100 bag-packing at Morrisons last weekend with over £900 going to WaterAid to improve sanitation in the Third World.

Our last Fair Trade stall before Christmas is next weekend and has many quality Christmas items and several end-of-line goods at bargain prices.

FEAST OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES:
It is 25 years since our church was re-dedicated by Cardinal Basil Hume, following the extension in the 1980’s.  We will be celebrating this event at all Masses on Sunday 8th February.  Further details to follow.
