FR. VINCENT:
There will be a collection next weekend for Fr. Vincent to thank him for all his hard work whilst he was with us.  We shall be inviting Fr. Vincent back on Saturday 28th September to celebrate the 6.30 pm Mass, after which there will be a presentation and refreshments in the Parish Hall.  You are all invited to join him to say your fond farewells

PARISH FUNDRAISING LUNCH:
Tickets will be on sale from this weekend after all Masses.  The Lunch will be raising funds for new fencing around the Parish Hall, and takes place on Sunday 6th October at 1.15 pm.  Tickets will cost £20, and include a three course buffet lunch and wine.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING:

Monday 16th September at 8.15 pm in the Small Hall.

PAPER SHOP ROTA:
Volunteers please collect your new rotas from the Paper Shop thank you.

SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENT VOLUNTEERS:

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
If you completed an application form last term, you are invited to sign up for an appointment, on Monday 23rd September, with the Priests and Catechists.  The list for appointments is available in the Paper Shop after Mass today.

FINCHLEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:
There will be an open evening on Tuesday 17th September from 5.30 pm – 9 pm,

FAIR TRADE WEEKEND:
September's Fair Trade stall is in the hall today after all Masses except the 12.30 pm and Sunday’s 6.30 pm.  Your purchases mean hard working farmers in developing countries receive a fair price for their labour. We give the stall's 10% profit to CAFOD.

CHOIR:
The choir is back singing at the 9.45 am Mass after the summer break. New members are always welcome, all you need is an interest in singing and a willingness to come to practise on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm.  Why not come along this Tuesday and give it a go?

BAPTISM COURSE:
The next course begins on Monday, 9th September, with signing of the application forms.  Please come to the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm.

SPONSORED FUN RUN FOR DEMENTIA:
Mary Tilki will be undertaking a sponsored walk on Oct 5th in aid of Cuimhne : Irish Memory Loss Alliance.  The money will be used to raise awareness of dementia , train community volunteers and develop memory loss friendly services mainly but not exclusively for the Irish in Britain.  For more information contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. RCIA COURSE:
If you are an adult, interested in becoming a Catholic, or in knowing more about the Catholic faith you are invited to attend our RCIA course which takes place from October to Easter.  Please collect an application form from the Priests in the Sacristy today.

ST ANNE’S CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:

Congratulations to St Anne’s Catholic High School for Girls on their excellent exam results this year.  They achieved their highest ever results with 90% of students achieving 5 or more A* - C grades at GCSE.  Congratulations also to those students who took their A Levels this year, many of whom  gained entry to the top Universities, including Cambridge.

SCOUT GROUP:
Meetings restart this coming week.  Please note that the Beavers and Cubs have moved their times slightly – Beavers will now begin at 5.15 pm and Cubs at 6.20 pm, still on Mondays.
