STATIONS OF THE CROSS ON GOOD FRIDAY:

COMPASS:
The Spring edition of Compass is now available at the back of the church.
FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT:
This weekend, 9th/10th March, the Fairtrade stall will be open after all Masses, including Sunday evening, to mark Fair Trade Fortnight.
ADULT CONFIRMATION:
We will shortly be holding a course for adults who would like to be Confirmed. For further information and an application form please see one of the Priests in the Sacristy after Mass.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
This Friday’s Stations of the Cross will be led by the Cubs and Brownies at 7.30 pm.
AUDREY GEORGE RIP:
Reception Wednesday 20th March at 5 pm. Requiem Mass Thursday 21st March at 10 am.
CAR PARK CLEANING VOLUNTEERS:
The Knights of St Columba will be cleaning the Car Park after the 10am Mass on Saturday 16th March. Any volunteers would be welcome. We would like to thank Cecilia and her group for their hard work cleaning the car park over the years.
CHURCHES TOGETHER LENT STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
This will take place on Saturday 23rd March from noon, starting at Christ Church, Whetstone and ending at St John the Apostle’s, Whetstone High Street (near B&Q) with concluding prayers and refreshments. You are all invited please come along.
TINS & TOILETRIES FOR THE HOMELESS:
During Lent we will be collecting for Homeless in Barnet. Once again, they request that we give toiletries as well as food. Please use the box at the back of the church. Thank you.
LENTEN ALMS:
This Lent the Diocese have asked us to support the St John Southworth Fund and Aid to the Church in Need with our Lenten Almsgiving. Both assist those in need, either here at home, or abroad. Please place your donation in the box in the porch marked Lenten Alms. Thank you.
FIRST COMMUNION BOYS OUTFITS:
This Sunday, 10th March, after the 11.15 am Mass, you are invited to join John & Caroline Georgiou from www.tinytux.co.uk in the Hall, who will be exhibiting their Boys Special Occasion Wear of boys formal 3pc, 4pc, 5pc, cravat and silk waistcoat suits ideal for Communions, Weddings or Christenings.
PAPER SHOP ROTAS:
New Volunteer rotas are available for collection from the Paper Shop.
BAPTISM COURSE:
The March course continues on Monday 11th at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.
LENT TALKS:
Our series of Lenten Talks continues on Tuesday 12th March at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall. The theme of this fourth talk is The Sacred Liturgy.
CONFIRMATION:
The Confirmation course continues on Wednesday 13th March at 7 pm in the Parish Hall. Please be on time.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
