ADVENT DISCUSSIONS:
This year’s discussions are based on the three parts of the Creed and are designed so the participants may be more able to talk about their own faith to others.  The second talk is on Tuesday 11th December at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.

ACTION FOR HOMELESS IN BARNET:
Donations of  toiletries as well as tins of food may be left in the Box at the back of the Church.  Thank you all.

SCOUT SLEEPOUT:
Next Saturday more than two dozen Scouts have volunteered to sleep in cardboard boxes in the Church grounds to raise awareness of homelessness in the capital.  Each is trying to raise funds through sponsorship for The Passage, London’s  largest voluntary sector day centre for homeless and vulnerable people.  Come and see where they slept on Sunday morning – and if you feel moved or inspired at their efforts, please make a donation.

ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
Are on Monday 17th December at 2.30 pm & 7.30 pm.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
Volunteers are needed to help listen to the children read at school.  If you have a few hours to spare and would like to help, please contact the school on 8361-0767.  Thank you.

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS:
At St Paul’s Church, Woodlands Road, on Sunday 16th December at 6.30 pm.  This is a joint event between our two parishes, and our choir and readers take part.  All our parishioners are invited to attend.  Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.

BEREAVEMENT:
If you have been bereaved and would like to talk to someone we now have a team of parishioners who are trained to help.  Please complete the form in the porch, or contact the office.

BAPTISM APPLICATIONS:

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:

THE LIME TREES NURSING HOME:
There will be Mass on Saturday 22nd December at the Lime Trees Nursing Home at 12 noon.  Lunch will be served after Mass and all Parishioners are warmly invited.

LADY REQUIRED:
Part-time, flexi hours to do light duties.  Must have own car and be reliable.  For details please call 8440 2281.

FAIR TRADE:
Next weekend is our last stall before Christmas.  We shall have a wide choice of Fair Trade goods, mostly at prices easily affordable for adults and children, which will be very acceptable and ethical gifts.
