CONFIRMATION 2012:
Please sign up for an appointment on Monday, 20th February between
5 – 9 pm, with the Priests and Catechists, on the list in the Paper Shop today.
There has been an unexpectedly large number of applicants this year so a second date for Confirmation has been added on Wednesday 23rd May. There will be a meeting for Parents on Wednesday 14th March at 7pm. Names will be drawn to decide which date will be allocated to each Candidate.
BEREAVEMENT GROUP:
We now have a group of volunteers who have been trained to provide support to individuals who have been bereaved. This support will be offered automatically to those newly bereaved but if you have been bereaved over the past couple of years and feel you would benefit from this please contact the Parish Office.
ST. EDMUND’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL CENTENARY:
Please come and join us in celebrating our Centenary on Saturday 3rd March. The School is open to the public from 12 – 3 pm.
You are all very welcome to tour the School and view our pictures from the past - come and see how times have changed!
MASS TIMES:
Please note there will be no 8am Mass on Thursday or Friday this week.
FEBRUARY BAPTISM COURSE:
Continues on Monday 13th February at 7.30 pm the Parish Centre.
ADULT CONFIRMATION:
There will be a short course commencing in March for any adult who would like to be confirmed. Application forms are available from the Sacristy.
FOUR SEASONS WINTER DRAW:
Congratulations to Maria Casling, Frank Howard & Nonie Fennell-Kelly who won 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize in the £1-a-month draw. They won £203.70, £58.20 & £29.10 respectively.
PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES 3rd – 7th September 2012: There has been a good response but there are still places available. Accordingly the time limit to express an interest has been extended to Sunday 19th February. Please see notice board in the porch for further details.
ALTAR SERVERS:
We are still looking for new Altar Servers. Children must have made their First Holy Communion. We especially need adult servers, male or female. Please see one of the Priests for further details thank you.

JANUARY SALE RAFFLE PRIZES:
There are still some unclaimed raffle prizes, including the First Prize – a large hamper, pink ticket 392. The list is on the notice board in the Parish Hall foyer. Prizes can be claimed from the Parish Office during opening hours.
