Isaiah 60: 1-6

To the people still living in darkness, Isaiah proclaims that the glory of the Lord is shining upon them.  It is time to rejoice. 

Ephesians 3:2-3. 5-6

All are now eligible to share in the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

Matthew 2: 1-12

The wise men ask Herod the whereabouts of the infant King of the Jews, and he seeks to use their news for his own ends.  Having paid their homage to Jesus, the wise men return home by a different route.
