2 Kings 5: 14-17
Naaman is brought to belief in Elisha’s God through being healed of his leprosy.

2 Timothy 2: 8-13
Paul explains that suffering like his is worthwhile for the sake of witnessing to the Good News of salvation and eternal glory for believers.

Luke 17: 11-19
Jesus, the Messiah, heals ten lepers, but only one of them, a Samaritan, returns to thank him, and is promised salvation.

Sunday Readings

Acts 1: 1-11
Before Jesus is taken up to heaven he instructs the apostles about the kingdom and their mission to bear witness to him.

Ephesians 1: 17-23

Paul prays that God may fill us with a deeper understanding of all the rich glories that he has promised we will inherit through the victory of Christ.

Mark 16: 15-20
Before Jesus ascends to the right hand of God he commissions the apostles to take the Gospel to the whole of creation.
