Acts 1: 1-11

Jesus returns to the Father after promising to give his Spirit to the disciples to help them in being witnesses. 

Ephesians 1: 17-23

Paul prays for enlightenment and wisdom for the disciples of Christ, who is the head of his body, the Church. 

Matthew 28: 16-20

On the mountain, the disciples worship Christ, who commands them to bring others to faith in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
