Isaiah 49: 14-15 Isaiah gives a beautiful image of a mother’s enduring love for her child. Yet even this is but a reflection of the Lord’s love for his people. 1 Corinthians 1: 1-5 Factions had caused problems withing the Christian community in Corinth. Paul reminds the people that the mission of preaching the Gospel has been given on trust by God. Matthew 6: 24-34 Jesus tells us not to worry about food, clothing or other material things. Our heavenly Father feeds the birds and adorns the flowers. All that we need will be given to us.
