Acts 1: 1-11
In this passage from the Acts of the Apostles, Luke gives us a picture of the ascension. 

Ephesians 1: 17-23
From his prison cell, Paul prays that we may come to a deeper understanding of our Lord’s triumph. 

Mark 16: 15-20
Jesus’ final commission to the apostles is that they are to proclaim the Good News and baptise those who believe.
