Acts 6: 1-7

After a dispute between the Greeks and the Hebrews within the New Christian community, the Twelve delegate responsibility for charitable distribution of food.  The word of God continues to spread. 

1 Peter 2: 4-9

Peter writes of Jesus being the living stone chosen by God to be the cornerstone.  By following Jesus we may all become living stones in this spiritual house. 

John 14: 1-12

Jesus teaches the disciples at the Last Supper, saying that he is ‘The way, the Truth and the Life’, and that he is in the Father as the Father is in him.  He promises that his disciples will perform great works.
