Eliakim, as master of the palace, is entrusted with the key of the House of David and is deputed to open and close the palace in the king’s name.

Romans 11: 33-36
The depth of the wisdom and knowledge of God; how unsearchable are God’s ways!

Matthew 16: 13-20
Peter acknowledges Jesus as Christ, Son of the living God; and Jesus recognizes Peter as the rock on which the Church is built and the bearer of the keys of the kingdom.
