Ecclesiasticus 15: 15-20

In this life a basic choice has to be made: which is it to be – life or death? 

1 Corinthians 2: 6-10

The mysterious wisdom of God is unlike the wisdom of this word.  The latter led to the crucifixion of ‘the Lord of Glory’, the former leads us to glorify the Father in Jesus Christ. 

Matthew 5: 17-37

Jesus brings the Law and the Prophets to fulfilment by proclaiming a holiness that reaches down to our deepest selves.
