ASH WEDNESDAY (6th FEBRUARY): There will be Mass at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm at which Ashes will be distributed. STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Will be on Friday 8th February after the 10 am Mass and at 7.30 pm. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Parents: Tuesday 5th 8 pm. Children: Saturday 9th 10 am. All: Mass on Sunday at 11.15 am. LOURDES PILGRIMAGE: There will be a meeting on Wednesday 9th April at 8 pm for all those wishing to come to Lourdes in October. It is important to attend so that application forms can be completed. A deposit of £75.00 is required. Please see notice board for further details.
EMBRYOLOGY BILL: Our MP, Mr David Burrowes will be speaking about bio-ethics and the implications of the bill currently going through Parliament at St. Monica’s Hall, Stonnard Road, Palmers Green on Tuesday 12th February at 7.30 pm. THE SEASON OF LENT: Please see the reverse of this newsletter for information concerning our Lenten Activities this year. LENTEN ALMS: Our Diocesan collection for Lent this year will be given to two causes: Within the Diocese funds will be given to those who help newly arrived migrants, whilst the external project will be for the relief of the poor in Zimbabwe and for a particular project in South Africa. Please be as generous as you can. OLOL SCHOOL INDULGENCE DAY: Saturday February 9th. Entrance is £5 – for tickets please call Nonie on 07732 475195. BERNADETTE CLUB: Meets on the 8th of February.There will be a guest speaker – all welcome. LENT HOUSE MASS: On Friday 8th February the Mass is at Eileen Galvin’s at 19, Bethune Avenue, N11 3LD.
