ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE IN HONOUR OF BLESSED CYPRIAN IWENE TANSI: At Mount Saint Bernard Abbey Whitwick, Coalville, Leicestershire on Saturday 27th August starting at 11am. For coach booking contact Bernadette on 07813 367787. Seats are £15 adults, £8 children. Early booking is advised. NEW TRANSLATION OF THE MASS: The new translation will be introduced from the weekend of 10th/11th September. LAY MINISTER ROTAS: Please collect the new rota, which begins on 14th August, from the paper shop. Many thanks. FR KEVIN has been appointed as Parish Priest of Radlett and Shenley. He expects that his last Sunday with us will be 11th September ST PATRICK’S MISSIONARY APPEAL: Fr John Garry will be speak at all Masses this weekend about the work the Society carries out in Africa. Fr. John has worked in Kenya, Sudan and N.E Uganda. There will be a collection after all Masses. This is our Annual Diocesan Missionary Appeal. FOUR SEASONS DRAW: The Summer Four Seasons £1 a-month Draw will take place on Sunday 14th August. Please forward subscriptions to the office by Saturday 13th August. Thank you for your support. PARISH OFFICE: The Office is open on Monday and Thursday this week at the usual times (see centre panel). HELP WANTED: Help is needed temporarily on Monday mornings from after the 10am Mass to help clean the altar vessels. Please contact the office if you are able to help – thank you. RCIA: If you would like to know more about the Catholic Faith or are thinking about becoming a Catholic then the RCIA course is ideal for you. There are application forms available from the Sacristy and our next course will begin in October, and runs to the following Easter time. WORLD GOA DAY: All are invited to celebrate World Goa Day at The Friars, Aylesford , Kent ME20 7BX on Saturday, 27 August 2011, starting at 10.30 am with the Rosary followed by Mass and a picnic.
