MACMILLAN NURSES:
Please join us for the world’s biggest coffee morning as part of the Huge Stir for MacMillan Cancer support on Saturday 27th September between 10 am – 12 noon in the Parish Hall.  Home made cakes welcome, please see the poster for more details. 

ENFIELD DEANERY TALKS:
At Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George, 45 London Rd, Enfield EN2 6DS, starting this week on Wednesday 24th September at 7.30 pm. 

LATIN DANCE CLASSES:
A new session begins on Friday 3rd October at 7 pm in the Parish Hall.   All welcome, no partner required!

CAKE SALE:
An enormous Thank You for your fantastic generosity last Sunday at the Cake Sale which raised £650 for Children with Visual Impairment, plus a very special thank you to all those who donated cakes.  Please see the notice board, or the website, for unclaimed raffle prizes

FR NICHOLAS KING SJ
will be talking on " St Paul's Vision" at St Mary's RC Church Hall on Thursday 25th September 7.30 pm (279 High Road East Finchley, N2). 

CHURCH NOTICE BOARD:
All items for the notice board should be first given to the Office as this helps us keep the board neat and tidy.  In addition, please note that any item will be taken down after three weeks unless it is dated, when it will be removed at the appropriate time.  Thank you.

SCHOOL SECURITY JOB:
Our Lady of Lourdes is looking for someone to do paid door security two evenings a week, during Italian classes.  Please contact the school on 8361 0767.

FAIR TRADE STALL:
All your favourites and a few new items will be available from the Stall next weekend, after the 6.30 pm (Sat) and the Sunday morning Masses. 

2009 CONFIRMATION:
The application forms for next year’s Confirmation are now available from the Paper Shop.  You should be at least 14 years old as of 31st August 2008.  Details are on the forms. 

SATURDAY CATECHISM CLASSES:
If you would like your child to make their First Holy Communion and they attend a Non Catholic school, please collect an application form from the Paper Shop.  They must be at least six years old by the 31st August 2008.  There will be a meeting for parents on 6th October at 7.45pm.
