WORLD YOUTH DAY NEWS:
The next WYD is in Sydney, Australia from 8 – 22 July 2008.  The Diocese is taking a group of 200 young people and places are now limited.  If you are over 16 and would like to go, download the application form from www.worldyouthday.org.uk .  The full cost of the trip amounts to £1,850.  The Catenian Association is offering to pay the full cost of the Pilgrimage for two young people – please ask Fr. Damian for a copy of their application form.

CAR PARK CLEANING:
A very Big thank you to all those who helped clean last weekend.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
The annual collection for the Association for the Propagation of the Faith (APF) will take place after all Masses today.

NOVEMBER DEAD ENVELOPES:
You will find envelopes in the Church Porch for your November Dead lists.  Please post completed lists through the Parish Letter Box.

SPECIAL NEEDS SATURDAY CLUB:
Meets on Saturday 3rd November 3pm – 5pm in the Parish Hall.
All welcome.

NOTES FOR PEWS:
The next Concert is on Saturday November 3rd at 8 pm.  Please see posters for more details – tickets will be on sale after all Masses.

PARISH WEBSITE:
If you glance at the newsletter header, you will see that our website is now active – you are all invited to have a look and see what you think!

CONFIRMATION 2008:
Applications forms will be available this weekend from the paper shop.  They must be returned in person on 19th or 20th November.  See sheet for details.

FR. JOHN BIJU:
There will be a reception for us to say good bye to Fr. John on Saturday 27th October at 7 pm.
Fr John will be celebrating the 6.30pm Mass.  All are welcome.

4 SEASONS DRAW:
The Autumn Draw takes place on 11th November in the Parish Hall after the 11.15 am Mass. Subscriptions need to be in by Saturday 10th please.

PENNIES FOR PEACE:
Please bring your pennies next Sunday and place in the PAX basket on the Sanctuary.  Thank you.

PARISH COUNCIL:
Minutes of the last meeting are now available in the paper shop for those who haven’t received them on email.

ALTAR SERVERS:
If you would like to become an altar server, please complete the slip below and return to the Presbytery as soon as possible.
