CONFIRMATION 2012:
Application forms are now available for this year’s Confirmation Course and can be collected from the Sacristy after all Sunday Masses. Forms must be collected and signed for by the candidate themselves.
Please sign up for an appointment on Monday 20th February between 5 – 9 pm to meet with the Priests and Catechists, on the list in the Paper Shop today.
There has been an unexpectedly large number of applicants this year so a second date for Confirmation has been added on Wednesday 23rd May. There will be a meeting for Parents on Wednesday 14th March at 7pm. Names will be drawn to decide which date will be allocated to each Candidate.
MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE:
We have had three couples express an interest in helping with this important ministry. If any married couples would like to help please see one of the Priests. Thank you.
BREDA SHUSTER RIP:
Reception: Wednesday 8th Feb, 6 pm.
Requiem Mass: Thursday at 10 am.

JANUARY SALE:
Many thanks to all who supported the sale. We had a marvellous day and raised £1,450 a great result. There is a list of prize numbers on the notice board in the Hall Foyer and prizes can be claimed from the office during opening hours. Many thanks to Janet and John Butterworth for all the work they put into the Sale every year.

PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES:
We are planning to go to Lourdes this year from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th September. The cost will be £511 per person. Please indicate your interest by placing your name(s) on the list on the notice board inside the Church, which also contains further details.

CAFOD Tackling Poverty and Injustice in Brazil
Talk on Thursday 2nd Feb in Enfield.
You are invited to a talk by Tony Sheen from CAFOD this Thursday 2nd February at 8pm in the Parish Centre of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George, London Road, Enfield, EN2 6DS
Tony will share stories from Brazil of inspirational people who are changing the lives of families living in favelas and are standing up for the rights of indigenous communities.
All are welcome.

JANUARY SALE:
This year’s Big Sale will take place this weekend after the Saturday evening Mass and all Sunday morning Masses. We have our usual collection of hats, gloves and scarves, plus many other items all at bargain prices as well as lovely homemade cakes. Please pop in for a bargain. All proceeds will go towards replacing the Crib figures.

MASS IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES:
Saturday 11th February at 2pm at Westminster Cathedral. Archbishop Vincent Nicols will be celebrating the Mass and the Sacrament of the Sick will be administered.

MASS TIMES THIS WEEK:
Monday – Friday 8 am & 10 am.
JANUARY SALE:
This year’s Big Sale will take place on Saturday 21st January after the evening Mass and Sunday 22nd after all morning Masses. We have our usual collection of hats, gloves and scarves, plus many other items all at bargain prices. Any donations of books, toys, DVDs, CDs, toiletries etc plus raffle prizes will be most welcome.
